2 Description American Traveler is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist with CVOR experience for a 13-week travel contract at an acute care hospital in Glendale, CA. Details Acute care hospital setting in a Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) unit 10-hour day shifts with every-other-weekend (EOW) requirements Call required as part of the schedule First-to-float policy applies Charting performed in Cerner Requirements Minimum of 2 years of surgical tech experience required CVOR experience required BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential via NBSTSA — active certifications required; pending certifications will not be accepted License required if applicable — must be active at time of consideration; pending licenses will not be accepted A copy of a valid driver's license is required for consideration 2 professional references required: one supervisor from within the last 12 months and one peer or supervisor from within the last 3 years, including dates of employment and eligibility for rehire Additional Information Candidates must not have been directly employed (full-time, part-time, or PRN) by any CommonSpirit, CHI, or Dignity Health facility within the past year; candidates employed PRN through outside staffing firms will be considered
