Key Responsibilities:

Consistently adhere to clinical policies, safety practices, and ethical standards Complete and maintain all regulatory licensing, certification, and ongoing competency training Deliver hands-on operating room care by anticipating procedural needs, preparing cases, and assisting with applications such as dressings and casts Manage surgical count practices for instruments and supplies, ensuring safety and adherence to protocols Communicate and document vital data, including signing off counts, reporting exceptions, and updating surgeon preference cards Proactively identify operational issues, contribute written process improvement recommendations, and take on department tasks beyond routine duties Support teaching and training of peers as needed

Qualifications:

Demonstrated experience as an Operating Room Technician (ORT) Current relevant licensure and certifications Strong familiarity with OR protocols, surgical counts, and case preparation Ability to work independently, efficiently, and as an engaged team player
