This role involves preparing the surgical environment with meticulous attention to detail, maintaining sterile fields, and assisting surgeons by passing instruments, supplies, and medications during procedures. You will perform essential technical tasks, including managing surgical supplies to ensure efficient and safe operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the preparation and setup of surgical cases by establishing and maintaining sterile fields. Provide intraoperative support by retracting tissue and passing instruments and supplies to surgeons. Maintain inventory and readiness of surgical instruments and supplies throughout procedures. Collaborate closely with surgical team members to ensure smooth workflow during operations. Uphold strict infection control and safety protocols within the operating room environment.

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

Proven nursing experience in an operating room or surgical setting. Familiarity with surgical instruments, sterile technique, and intraoperative patient care. Strong ability to anticipate surgical team needs and maintain focus during procedures. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Current nursing licensure and certifications as required.
