Job Details Description Surgical Technologist II (CST) Valley Presbyterian Hospital Support Surgical Excellence & Patient Safety At Valley Presbyterian Hospital, our surgical team is dedicated to delivering safe, high-quality care. We're seeking an experienced Surgical Technologist II to support the OR team before, during, and after procedures while maintaining sterile technique and ensuring equipment readiness. What You'll Do Scrub and assist during surgical procedures in the operating room Prepare and maintain sterile fields, instruments, and surgical equipment Anticipate surgeon and team needs during procedures Ensure strict adherence to aseptic technique and infection control standards Prepare appropriate instruments and supplies based on surgical procedures Assist with patient preparation and support during perioperative care Maintain and monitor surgical equipment and report any issues Complete required documentation, logs, and quality reports Support patient safety, comfort, and privacy throughout the surgical process Participate in quality improvement and regulatory compliance initiatives What You Bring 1+ year of recent acute care experience as a Surgical Technologist preferred Strong knowledge of OR procedures, instrumentation, and sterile technique Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced surgical environment Strong attention to detail and patient safety Excellent teamwork and communication skills Requirements High school diploma or equivalent Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program Current Surgical Technologist Certification (CST) AHA BLS certification Ability to obtain LA City Fire Card within 30 days Why VPH Mission-driven healthcare organization Hands-on role in surgical care and patient safety Collaborative and high-performing OR team Opportunity to grow within perioperative services Apply today to support surgical excellence at VPH.
