Job Description

  • Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is seeking a Surgical Technologist to join a high-performing surgical team in a leading acute care hospital setting.
  • This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced operating room environment where precision, teamwork, and patient safety are critical. You will play a key role in supporting surgeons and ensuring seamless surgical procedures from setup through completion.
  • Position Overview
  • The Surgical Technologist is an essential member of the operating room team, responsible for preparing sterile environments, supporting surgical procedures, and ensuring all instruments and equipment are ready and functioning. This role requires strong clinical knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to anticipate surgeon needs in real time.
  • What You'll Do
  • + Prepare and maintain the sterile surgical field, instruments, and supplies + Anticipate surgeon needs and pass instruments, supplies, and equipment efficiently + Perform surgical scrub duties and assist throughout procedures + Ensure proper sterilization methods are used for all instruments and equipment + Monitor sterile technique and immediately address any breaks or safety concerns + Perform accurate surgical counts with circulating nurse (before, during, after procedures) + Handle specimens and medications according to policy and procedure + Prepare operating rooms for cases and manage room turnover efficiently + Communicate clearly and effectively with all members of the surgical team + Support safe, high-quality patient care across diverse populations •Pay•The anticipated wage for this position is between $58 to $64.
Hourly wage depends upon experience, education, geographic location and other factors.
  • Qualifications
  • Education:
  • + Completion of a formal, structured Surgical Technology program
  • Required Skills & Knowledge:
  • + Strong understanding of surgical procedures, anatomy, and physiology + Knowledge of sterile technique and ability to identify and escalate breaches + Ability to make sound clinical decisions and respond quickly in high-pressure situations + Effective communication and teamwork skills + Familiarity with surgical equipment, instrumentation, and OR workflows + Working knowledge of computer systems used in clinical environments + Commitment to safety, compliance, and continuous professional development •Certifications•+ BLS - Basic Life Support (required) + CST - Certified Surgical Technologist (preferred) •Benefits•We offer a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, and additional voluntary benefits.

  • $54.
