Travel Contract Role Summary We are seeking an experienced Surgical Technologist (OR Tech) to support a busy Operating Room team in Redding, CA. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience assisting with Total Joint, General, Vascular, and Spine surgeries and be committed to maintaining the highest standards of patient care and surgical excellence. Key Responsibilities Prepare operating rooms, instruments, and sterile supplies for surgical procedures Assist surgeons and nursing staff during operations Maintain sterile technique and infection control standards throughout procedures Anticipate the needs of the surgical team and ensure proper instrument availability Support a variety of surgical specialties including Orthopedic Total Joints, General Surgery, Vascular Surgery, and Spine procedures Perform instrument counts and assist with room turnover between cases Ensure compliance with hospital policies and safety standards Required Certifications BLS (Basic Life Support) CertificationCOVID-19
Vaccination Required Qualifications Strong Operating Room experience required Must have extensive experience with: Total Joint Procedures General Surgery Vascular Surgery Spine Surgery Excellent knowledge of sterile technique and surgical instrumentation Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced surgical environment Education Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program preferred Benefits Competitive weekly pay Housing stipend or assistance Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance Life insurance Supportive and responsive staffing team Why Redding, CA?
