Wednesday:
700-1500 The Scrub Technician plays a critical role in supporting surgical procedures primarily focused on spine, neurosurgery, and pain management. Working within a small, specialized team of 2-4 members, this role involves instrument preparation, sterilization, and ensuring the operating environment meets stringent patient safety and compliance standards. The typical schedule is a standard day shift with overtime as needed, emphasizing collaboration and readiness in a fast-paced surgical setting. Responsibilities Prepare and sterilize surgical instruments and equipment Maintain surgical equipment to ensure optimal functionality Assist surgical team during spine, neurosurgery, and pain management procedures Monitor and replenish surgical supplies throughout operations Adhere strictly to infection control and compliance protocols Ensure patient safety by maintaining a sterile environment Collaborate effectively with team members to support surgical workflow Preferred Qualifications Minimum of 1 year experience in surgical technology Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Strong knowledge of surgical instruments and operating room protocols Familiarity with infection control and patient safety practices Effective communication and teamwork skills Time management and problem-solving abilities
