Schedule/Hours:
Travel position; flexibility may be required to meet department needs
Qualifications and Experience:
Licensed Nursing-ORT credentials (certifications maintained as required) Up-to-date on all regulatory requirements (TB Testing, Safety, Compliance, HIPAA, etc.) Proven competency in the operating room, with the ability to anticipate and support surgical procedures Strong documentation and communication skills Commitment to ethical practices and strict adherence to patient safety policies
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver quality perioperative care and actively support operating room activities Prepare, pick, and stock cases in line with surgeon preferences and procedural needs Meticulously count instruments and sponges, updating documentation as required Identify and address issues proactively, contributing suggestions for improvements and cost containment Participate in staff education, orientation, and maintain high standards of clinical knowledge Flexibility to work alternate or additional shifts as assigned
