Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Valid and unencumbered nursing license Proven experience or certification as an Operating Room Technician (ORT) Proficiency in surgical instrumentation, sterile technique, and perioperative procedures Strong attention to detail and ability to anticipate surgical needs Effective communication and interpersonal skills for teamwork and patient interactions Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred Ability to thrive under pressure while maintaining composure and focusResponsibilities and Duties:
Prepare and maintain a sterile field for surgical procedures Assist surgeons and operating room staff by ensuring timely availability of instruments and supplies Monitor and support patient safety throughout perioperative phases Accurately document technical and patient information as required Maintain inventory of surgical instruments and equipment, arranging for sterilization and replacement when required Adhere to hospital standards, infection control protocols, and all regulatory guidelines Contribute positively to team-based care, supporting a collaborative and respectful workplace culture Enjoy the opportunity to work in a supportive professional environment that values your specialized skills.
