1 Description American Traveler is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist with CVOR experience for a hospital Operating Room position working 4x10 night shifts. Details Hospital Operating Room setting with a cardiovascular focus
Schedule:
4x10-hour night shifts, Monday through Thursday, 8:30 PM to 7:00 AM No call or weekend shifts required Uses Epic for charting 40 hours per week, 13-week contract Requirements Minimum of 2 years of Surgical Tech experience, with at least 1 year of CVOR scrubbing experience Graduation from an accredited ORT or Surgical Technologist program, or graduation from a non-accredited program within the past 6 months, or 2 years of scrub tech experience in hospital or military surgical services within the last 3 years NBSTSA Certified Surgical Technologist credential required Colorado DORA license required if applicable BLS certification from the American Heart Association required (must not expire prior to start date) DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration Additional Information Functions under the supervision of an RN and reports to Surgical Services management Responsibilities include maintaining sterile fields, preparing the OR and instruments, assisting surgeons within ORT scope of practice, and managing room turnover and cleaning Expected to identify and respond appropriately to emergency situations May assist with sterile processing duties Participates in the surgical operations safety plan Permanent staff must have been separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year to be eligible for a travel assignment Cardio experience should be clearly reflected in your resume or profile
