1 Description American Traveler is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) with strong robotics, orthopedic total joint, and cardiac experience for a Level II Trauma Center hospital position within the Yale New Haven Health System. Details Work in a short-term acute care hospital with 426 staffed beds, part of the Yale New Haven Health System Level II Trauma Center setting Rotating day, evening, and night shifts (3x12) based on departmental need; day shift 7:00-19:30, night shift 19:00-7:30 Weekend work and on-call shifts required as needed by the department Charting performed in Epic Free parking available on-site Requirements CST (Certified Surgical Technologist) certification required Minimum of 2 years of surgical tech experience Strong robotics surgical experience required Orthopedic total joint experience required Cardiac surgical experience required BLS certification required License required if applicable Candidates must live at least 75 miles from the facility to qualify for travel rates Additional Information 13-week travel contract Candidates who were previously permanent staff must have been separated for at least 2 years before being considered as a traveler Up to 7 days of RTO may be auto-approved by the facility Flu vaccination is required; declinations are not accepted COVID vaccine and booster required; religious or medical exemptions are accepted 1 professional reference required for consideration
