Energetic, experienced, Certified Surgical Technician needed for the clinical staff of a fast paced ambulatory orthopedic center in Hartford, Connecticut. Orthopedic experience preferred. Team player who is detailed oriented and committed to assisting the physicians, patients, and staff during the OR course. No weekends, no holidays. Competitive benefit package.
QUALIFICATIONS
Certification Experience in orthopedics preferred Experience with total joints and spine preferred Ambulatory Surgery Center experience preferred Current BLS Certification Knowledge and skills to perform the position job duties Knowledge and skills to perform position duties A strong knowledge of aseptic technique, instrumentation, sterilization, and the ability to handle emergency situations
