Surgical Technologist

Cosmetic Surgery practice is looking for a

SURGICAL TECHNOLOGIST

experience in assisting in cosmetic or plastic surgery is preferred. Working days are Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. Qualifications

MUST BE A

Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program Minimum of one-year experience in an operating room setting; preferably in an ambulatory surgery center Current BLS Ability to perform work that requires frequent standing, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, moving, lifting of patients and/or equipment up to 50 pounds Excellent organizational/multi-tasking skills with acute attention to detail Responsibilitie Assists the surgeon during a surgical procedure with a high degree of efficiency, anticipating surgeon's and patient needs during the case As a Surgical or Operating Room Tech, you greet our patients, comfort them and transport them to the surgical suite Once in the operating room, you will perform technical duties to assist in preparing and caring for our surgical patients Sterilize and clean instruments Assist with positioning, prepping and draping of the patient or perform these actions independently if so directed by the surgeon Perform intraoperative tissue manipulation by exposing the retracting tissue Assist with completion of procedures by affixing and stabilizing drains and dressings our surgery days are Monday -Wednesday . In Times where there is no surgeries, candidate is expected to help cover the front office, back office or any area where there is needed help.

$25.00 - $35.00 per hour
