We are a state-of-the-art ambulatory surgery center specializing in ophthalmology, committed to delivering exceptional patient care and surgical outcomes. OR:
Set up surgical instruments, equipment, and sterile drapes for each procedure, ensuring a seamless start. Assist the
Surgical Team:
Act as a scrub tech, anticipating the surgeon's needs by efficiently passing instruments and supplies.
Maintain Sterility:
Uphold strict sterile techniques and protocols to ensure a safe surgical field and prevent infections.
Manage Supplies:
Handle and manage all surgical instruments and equipment, ensuring proper sterilization, maintenance, and inventory levels.
Collaborate:
Work closely with surgeons, nurses, and anesthesiologists to maintain a collaborative and highly effective team environment. Qualifications Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program or equivalent training. Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or eligibility to obtain certification. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Strong understanding of sterile techniques and surgical procedures. Ophthalmic experience is highly preferred, with a focus on proficiency in eye surgical procedures. Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment. Quarterly Bonus:
