Weston, Florida Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced OR Tech / Surgical Tech for a 13-week assignment at a respected teaching hospital in Florida. This opportunity is ideal for candidates with strong operating room experience who are comfortable working in a fast-paced surgical environment and floating between departments as needed.
Shift Details:
Day Shift - 3x12s Shift options discussed during interview Guaranteed 36 hours per week
Responsibilities:
Prepare operating rooms for surgical procedures Assist surgeons and nursing staff during operations Maintain sterile field and ensure proper surgical instrument handling Anticipate surgeon needs during procedures Assist with patient positioning, room turnover, and equipment setup Follow infection prevention and patient safety protocols Float within scope based on facility needs
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of recent OR Tech / Surgical Tech experience BLS certification required NBSTSA or NCCT certification preferred First-time travelers accepted Must be comfortable floating to sister facilities if needed Pending licenses not accepted For more details reach at or Call / Text at 732 791 4807 - EXT 4807 .
