6:45 AM - 7:15 PM Weekend and Holiday Coverage Required Call Coverage Required No Block Scheduling Available Position Overview "Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Surgical Technologist (CST) for a travel Operating Room assignment. This role is ideal for candidates with strong trauma surgical experience, previous travel assignments, and the ability to perform efficiently in fast-paced surgical environments. The CST will support perioperative teams during complex surgical procedures while maintaining sterile technique, ensuring patient safety, and assisting with efficient surgical workflow. Key Responsibilities Prepare operating rooms with sterile instruments, supplies, and equipment Assist surgeons during operative procedures by passing instruments and supplies Maintain sterile field and adhere to infection prevention protocols Anticipate procedural needs and support surgical team efficiency Assist with patient positioning and preparation for surgery Maintain accurate counts of instruments, sharps, and surgical supplies Ensure proper handling and sterilization of surgical equipment Support room turnover and OR readiness between procedures Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, nurses, and perioperative staff Maintain compliance with hospital safety and surgical standards Required Qualifications Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification required Previous travel assignment experience required Level I Trauma Center experience required Strong Operating Room experience required High skills checklist rating required Ability to perform effectively in high-pressure surgical environments For more details reach at About Navitas Healthcare, LLC certified WBENC and one of the fastest-growing healthcare staffing firms in the US providing Medical, Clinical and Non-Clinical services to numerous hospitals.
