Schedule/Hours:
Travel assignment; specific shift details provided during interview
Qualifications & Experience:
Current certification as a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or equivalent CVOR Tech credentials Previous CVOR or operating room experience required, preferably in high-acuity environments Proficiency with cardiovascular surgical instruments and sterile technique BLS certification (required); ACLS preferred Strong organizational and communication skills Adaptability to new teams and workflows
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and maintain surgical instruments and CVOR environment for procedures Assist the surgical team in cardiovascular operations, ensuring optimal efficiency and safety Maintain sterile field and adhere to infection control protocols Anticipate the needs of surgeons and surgical staff Accurately document surgical counts, and equipment usage Support post-surgical process, instrument care, and supply restocking
