The CST is responsible for preparing the operating room, maintaining a sterile environment, anticipating the surgeon's needs, and ensuring all required instruments and supplies are available throughout surgical procedures.

Candidate must be available to start after July 4, 2026 Key Responsibilities Prepare the operating room and surgical field for procedures. Maintain sterile technique and ensure patient safety throughout surgery. Anticipate the needs of surgeons and the surgical team. Gather and organize surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies. Assist during surgical procedures as needed. Troubleshoot surgical instruments and equipment. Ensure additional supplies and equipment are readily available when required. Support inventory management, ordering, and stocking of operating rooms and perioperative areas. Assist in maintaining compliance with Joint Commission standards. Participate in performance improvement initiatives. Mentor, precept, and train staff when appropriate. Provide call coverage and late coverage as required. Qualifications Required Experience Minimum 1 year of Surgical Technologist experience Required Certifications One of the following: CST
  • Certified Surgical Technologist TS-C (NCCT)
  • Tech in Surgery Certified CSFA
  • Certified Surgical First Assistant CSA
  • Certified Surgical Assistant Required Life Support Certification One of the following: BLS
  • Basic Life Support ARC-BLS
  • American Red Cross Basic Life Support BLS-I
  • Basic Life Support Instructor Pay:
