$15,000 Sign-On Bonus Relocation Assistance available on a case-by-case basis Career growth opportunities within a high-volume cardiovascular surgery program Position Summary The Certified CVOR Surgical Technologist supports cardiovascular and thoracic surgeons during operative procedures while maintaining a sterile and safe surgical environment. Working under the supervision of the circulating OR RN, this role assists with surgical preparation, instrumentation management, patient positioning, sterile processing, and intraoperative support. Key Responsibilities Prepare and organize instruments, supplies, and equipment for CVOR procedures Assist surgeons and surgical teams during cardiac and thoracic surgeries Maintain sterile field throughout all surgical procedures Perform surgical counts with circulating RN before and after procedures Assist with patient positioning, transportation, and OR setup Clean and prepare instruments for terminal sterilization Prepare operating rooms for upcoming surgical cases Support efficient surgical workflow and quality patient care Collaborate with interdisciplinary surgical and nursing teams Participate in continuing education and professional development activities Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program required Current Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification required Minimum 1-2 years of CVOR experience required Prior Operating Room experience required Current AHA or American Red Cross BLS certification required Strong sterile technique, communication, and teamwork skills required High-acuity cardiovascular and thoracic surgical experience preferred Additional Information Rotating weekends required On-call schedule based on department needs Reports to CV Surgery leadership team Fast-paced, collaborative surgical environment ideal for experienced CVOR professionals For more details contact at hdavda@navitashealth.com or Call / Text at 516-862-1169.
