Job Description

Category Nursing - ORT Job Type Travel Set against the welcoming backdrop of Eldridge, IA, this travel opportunity allows you to immerse yourself in a vibrant community renowned for its Midwestern charm and access to scenic outdoor activities. Working as a nursing professional with a focus on OR technology, you'll rotate through diverse surgical environments that utilize advanced ortho/OR robotics. Schedule:
4 ten-hour shifts per week Variable start times between 6 am and 8 am On-call one day per week and every fourth weekend
Qualifications:
Active, unencumbered nursing license Demonstrated experience in Operating Room Technology (ORT) Orthopedic and robotic surgical experience highly preferred Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced surgical setting Strong communication and patient-care skills Current BLS certification
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in surgical procedures, including robotic and orthopedic cases Ensure surgical instruments and equipment are prepared and maintained Work collaboratively with surgeons, anesthesiologists, nurses, and ancillary staff Adhere to rigorous aseptic techniques and support best-in-practice safety protocols Participate in preoperative and postoperative patient care
