You will be responsible for assisting with delivering quality surgical care through planning and anticipating the surgeon and procedure needs and coordinating with the circulating perioperative nurse during surgical procedures. Magna Surgical Center is a fast-paced ASC environment committed to producing the highest quality outpatient surgical care in the most advanced technical and professional environment.
Job Summary:
Assist in preparation for surgical cases assuring supplies, equipment, and instruments are available and in working order before the start of each case. Assist physicians during surgical procedures Maintain aseptic technique Coordinate with the Operating Room Nurse Assist in maintaining proper inventory levels for all procedures Ability to scrub Ophthalmology, GI, Podiatry, and Pain Management cases Prepare operating rooms for surgery and organize supplies and equipment daily. Assist in sterile processing as needed and supports the OR Supply and Materials Tech as directed Possess good communication and interpersonal skills Ability to interact with all members of the healthcare team Process excellent organizational skills Self-motivated and functions as a team member Dependable employee open to learning and growing with our surgery center. Materials Management Job Requirements:
PLASTIC SURGERY EXPERIENCE IS A MUST!
Two or more years of experience Professional certifications as a scrub technician is required CPR certification Experience in Ophthalmology, GI, Podiatry, and Pain Management is required
