EPIC Optime Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Surgical Technologist•Neuro OR to join a high-performing surgical team in a fast-paced neurosurgical environment. The ideal candidate will have strong Neuro OR experience with advanced surgical procedures and possess the ability to support complex neurological cases with precision and efficiency. This role requires expertise in maintaining sterile technique, preparing surgical equipment, and supporting surgeons during highly specialized procedures. Department Highlights 4 dedicated Neuro Operating Room suites Approximately 200 neurosurgical cases per month High-acuity and collaborative surgical environment RN Circulator and Surgical Tech team model Dedicated Neuro leadership and support available 24/7 Required Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program Current BLS Certification required Surgical Technologist certification preferred (if applicable per state requirements) Minimum 2 years of Neuro OR experience required Must have hands-on experience with: Spinal Fusions Craniotomies Comprehensive Neuro surgical procedures beyond spine and cranial cases Candidates must be well-rounded in Neuro OR cases; this experience is mandatory with no exceptions Primary Responsibilities Prepare operating rooms and ensure availability of instruments, supplies, and equipment Scrub and assist surgeons during complex neurosurgical procedures Maintain strict sterile field and infection prevention standards Anticipate surgeon needs and provide instruments and supplies efficiently Assist with patient positioning and surgical preparation Collaborate with RNs, surgeons, anesthesia teams, and other surgical staff Document and support workflows utilizing EPIC Optime Ensure compliance with hospital policies and patient safety standards Common Surgical Cases Neurology Surgery Spine Procedures Craniotomies Spinal Fusion Surgeries Additional advanced Neuro procedures

Scheduling & Call Requirements Regular Schedule:

10-hour shifts: 7:00 AM•5:30

PM On-Call Requirements:

Weeknight call: 1-2 nights per week (5:30 PM•7:00 AM) Weekend rotation: Approximately 1 weekend per month Holiday call participation required No self-scheduling Support Structure Charge Nurse support available Monday-Friday Dedicated Charge coverage available 24/7 House Supervisor support available 24/7 OR Tech support team in place Charge staff do not take room assignments Staffing Model 1 RN Circulator per operating room 1 RN/Scrub Tech assigned for scrub responsibilities

Weekend Differential:

Additional $2.50/hour

Sign-On Bonus:

$15,000 Sign-On Bonus with a 2-year commitment
