1 Description American Traveler is seeking a Surgical Technologist with broad multi-specialty OR experience for a hospital operating room position working night shifts. Details Hospital operating room (OR) setting with a diverse surgical caseload across multiple specialties Specialties include orthopedics/podiatry, robotics, spine/neuro, gynecology, general surgery, plastics, urology, cystoscopy, ENT, and vascular surgery (including AAA, aorto-femoral bypass, and A-V shunts) Cardiovascular (open heart) cases are covered by a dedicated CV team and are not part of this role's responsibilities Night shift schedule: 10:30 PM - 7:00 AM 5 shifts per week, 8 hours per shift No weekend or holiday shifts required Call requirements are part of this role; candidates must be competent across all listed specialties for call coverage Requirements Proficiency in most surgical specialties as listed, with the ability to scrub independently Experience with vascular procedures including AAA, aorto-femoral bypass, and A-V shunts BLS certification required License required if applicable Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position Additional Information Must be able to scrub independently across multiple surgical specialties Experience with organ procurement is a plus First-time travelers are not explicitly addressed; strong multi-specialty OR competency is essential given call responsibilities Local candidates (within 50 miles of the facility) are not eligible for this position
