Welcome to Metro Specialty Surgery Center! Are you a skilled and compassionate Operating Room Tech seeking an extraordinary career opportunity at a state-of-the-art healthcare facility? Metro Specialty Surgery Center is currently seeking to hire a Surgical Technologist! Surgical Technologist at Metro Specialty Surgery Center Under the direct supervision of the Director of Nursing, the Surgical Technologist scrubs for surgical procedures and demonstrates competence while functioning as a member of the surgical team. Prepares and maintains supplies, instruments and equipment related to these procedures. Supports the philosophy, objectives and goals of the Surgery Center. Supports and participates in quality improvement activities. Ideal candidate will be focused on excellent customer service, have the ability to multi-task, the ability to show flexibility in assignments, maintain scrupulous infection control standards, maintain professional competencies and have the ability to work as part of an interdependent multidisciplinary team. Position requires weekdays only - no holidays, weekends, or call. Some later evenings required. Competitive salary and benefits for the right candidate.

Qualifications:

High school graduate or equivalent. Completion of an appropriate surgical technician program preferred Previous experience in an ambulatory surgical center strongly preferred Must possess a strong knowledge of surgical procedures and management of the surgical patient Understanding of aseptic techniques and their implementation Ability to quickly adapt to changing condition of the patient when needed Must be an excellent team player and have the ability to communicate with staff, patients and physicians
