Kansas City, KS Pay rate: $40-$50/hr Job Overview Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Surgical Technician, where you will play a vital role in supporting surgical teams during a wide range of procedures. Your expertise will ensure that operating rooms operate smoothly, safely, and efficiently, providing exceptional patient care from preoperative preparation to postoperative assistance. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment dedicated to delivering high-quality surgical services across diverse specialties, including trauma, pediatrics, and critical care. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will contribute significantly to positive patient outcomes and the overall success of our surgical team. Duties Prepare operating rooms by sterilizing instruments, arranging supplies, and ensuring aseptic techniques are maintained throughout procedures Assist surgeons during surgeries by passing instruments, suturing, and managing surgical tools with precision and care Monitor patient vital signs and physiological responses during procedures, reporting any anomalies promptly Maintain accurate medical records using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems such as Epic or other hospital-specific platforms Support patient care by ensuring comfort, safety, and adherence to infection control protocols before, during, and after surgeries Collect data related to surgical procedures for analysis and quality improvement initiatives Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including anesthesia providers, nurses, and physicians to optimize patient outcomes in high-pressure environments such as
Level I Trauma Centers or PICUs Requirements CST Certificate BLS Pay:
$40.00 - $50.00 per hour
