Travel Key Responsibilities:
Provide skilled intraoperative assistance across multiple specialties including ENT, Neurosurgery, Surgical Oncology, Orthopedics, and Transplants. Float to all operating rooms as needed, maintaining flexibility in assignments. Support Level I trauma cases with clinical expertise. Participate in on-call rotation 3-4 shifts every 8 weeks; some may occur on weekends. Adhere to hospital protocols and assist in maintaining a sterile, safe surgical environment.Qualifications and Experience:
NBSTSA certification preferred; non-certified candidates considered with a minimum of 3 years Surgical Tech experience. AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required. Minimum 1.5 to 2 years travel experience strongly preferred. Proven experience in ENT, Neuro, Surgical Oncology, and Level I trauma required. Strong Orthopedics experience and transplant exposure highly desirable. New graduates are not eligible for this opportunity.Orientation & Additional Information:
Orientation will be conducted in person on Monday and Tuesday prior to assignment start. Holidays falling on scheduled workdays result in a reduction of hours/pay rather than additional compensation. Weekend shifts are not regularly required outside of the on-call schedule.About Kansas City, KS:
