Job Description

Scrub Tech Surgery Department | Wilson Medical Center Be a Vital Part of Our Surgical Team At Wilson Medical Center, we believe exceptional patient care starts with dedicated professionals who are passionate about making a difference. We are seeking a compassionate, detail-oriented Scrub Tech to join our Surgery Department. This role is an integral part of our surgical team, helping ensure safe, efficient procedures while providing the highest level of support to surgeons, nurses, and patients. What You'll Do As a Scrub Tech, you will play a key role in preparing and maintaining a safe, sterile surgical environment.
Responsibilities include:
Preparing operating rooms for surgical procedures Assisting with sterile surgical procedures as part of the surgical team Decontaminating, sterilizing, storing, and distributing sterile instruments and patient care supplies Maintaining and monitoring sterile fields throughout procedures Cleaning, organizing, and restocking operating rooms and surgical supplies Ensuring surgical equipment and instruments are properly prepared and available Supporting surgeons, nurses, and other team members during procedures Following all infection prevention, safety, confidentiality, and HIPAA guidelines
Qualifications Required:
High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred:
Graduate of an accredited Surgical Scrub Technician program Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) Previous healthcare or surgical experience Why Wilson Medical Center?
