Job Description
I have a full time, exclusive, CVOR Surgical Technologist opportunity with a top 520 bed "not for profit" hospital which offers a wide range of healthcare services including, but not limited to, full range cardiovascular inpatient, surgical and outpatient services, vascular interventions, a level II emergency room with specialty stroke and heart attack teams, an extensive neuroscience program, full oncology services including two free standing radiation centers, a nationally recognized orthopedic program, full-service radiology services, obstetrics with a Level III NICU, state of the art surgical services with robotics and multiple surgical outpatient settings and a wound care center. The hospital has achieved Magnet designation for excellence in nursing services four times from the American Nurses Credentialing Center's (ANCC) Magnet Recognition Program and is a 10-time recipient of the Best Places to Work in Kentucky designation. The hospital employs over 3,300 employees. The Open Heart Surgery Unit is within our main OR and consists of 3 rooms dedicated specifically to open heart surgery Procedures include open heart surgery, TAVR, and Aortic Aneurysm repairs in addition to other advanced and complex heart interventions. Generally have about 15 weekly cases-Full time day shift Will have weekday call (generally 8 - 10 hour shift); weekend call is every 3rd weekend One year of experience in CVOR and cardiovascular surgical services.
