1 Description American Traveler is seeking a Surgical Technologist with pediatric OR experience for a night shift position at a major academic medical center in Baltimore, MD. Details Pediatric OR setting within a large academic medical center (500+ bed facility) Full range of surgical services including cardiac, general, neuro, ortho, plastics, GYN, ENT, ophthalmology, and trauma Epic EMR used in a scrub role Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM (12-hour shifts) Typical weekly schedule includes Monday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday shifts No on-call requirements 13-week contract Requirements Minimum of 4-5 years of surgical technologist experience Current pediatric OR experience required Completion of an accredited surgical technology program required; certification (CST) is not required Experience at a comparable facility size (500+ bed facility) required BLS certification required Epic EMR experience preferred License required if applicable SSN and DOB required for consideration 1 professional reference required for consideration Additional Information Provide scrub technologist support across a broad range of pediatric surgical specialties Orientation is held on the 2nd and 4th Monday of the month; candidates must be cleared by 5:00 PM the Thursday prior to their start date Local candidates are welcome and considered at the same rate as travel candidates
