$50•52/hour Position Overview We are seeking a highly skilled Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) for a 12-week contract assignment in a fast-paced, multi-specialty Operating Room. The Surgical Technologist will function as a key member of the surgical team, maintaining a sterile field and providing direct intraoperative support across a wide range of surgical specialties. This role requires strong adaptability, excellent scrub skills, and the ability to function efficiently in a high-volume OR environment. Required Skills & Experience Ability to scrub General Surgery, Orthopedic, Neurosurgery, Vascular, GYN, GU, and Robotics cases Strong knowledge of sterile technique and aseptic practices Experience in instrument setup, surgical counts, and OR turnover Ability to assist surgical teams in a fast-paced environment Competency working with adult and geriatric surgical patients CST certification required Preferred Experience Endovascular surgical experience (preferred, not required) Robotics-assisted surgery experience (e.g., da Vinci systems) Experience in high-acuity, multi-specialty OR settings Certifications Required BLS (Basic Life Support) CST (Certified Surgical Technologist)•Required NBSTSA (preferred) NCCT (preferred) Responsibilities Scrub and assist across multiple surgical specialties Maintain strict sterile field throughout procedures Prepare operating room for scheduled surgical cases Ensure proper surgical instruments, trays, and supplies are available Assist with surgical counts and documentation Support OR team during turnovers and case transitions Participate in weekend, holiday, and on-call rotations as scheduled Schedule Requirements 3x12 rotating shifts based on OR case volume Primary need is daytime coverage Must work 6 weekend shifts per 13-week contract Holiday coverage required (1 holiday assignment) On-call may be assigned (8-12 hour shifts, weekends only) Floating required within surgical services as needed Additional Details Patient population: Adults to Geriatrics Case complexity: High-acuity, multi-specialty surgical services OR rooms/beds: 11 operating rooms
