•In-Person Hiring Event at Northern Light Mercy Hospital •Join us Thursday, June 4th, 2026, between 2:00pm - 4:30pm at 175 Fore River Parkway, Portland, Maine Hiring Certified Surgical Technologists (CST) for full & part time schedules Experienced and Newly Graduated candidates are welcome to join us Our team of Hiring Managers will be there to interview you during this time Sign-On bonuses for full or part time schedules that increase with experience Respond today to get your dedicated interview time scheduled Job Overview We are actively seeking a skilled Certified Surgical Technologist to join our team through an in-person hiring event. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in surgical procedures, sterile technique, and patient care within various hospital settings. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to high-quality surgical services in a dynamic healthcare environment, supporting patient safety and operational excellence.
Qualifications:
Certification as a Surgical Technologist Responsibilities Maintains sterile operative fields. Maintains inventory of medical supplies or equipment. Assists healthcare practitioners during surgery. Positions patients for treatment or examination. Protect patients or staff members using safety equipment. Orients new staff to unit and specific specialty. Maintains a safe environment complying with Northern Light Health policies and procedures; reports and directly addresses environmental hazards and violations of patient safety policy and/or protocol when involved or observed. May perform other duties upon request.
