Category Nursing - ORT Job Type Contract A healthcare facility in Detroit, MI is seeking a skilled professional with expertise in Nursing - ORT and Surgical Technology (Certified) to fill a contract position. This opportunity is ideal for candidates experienced in operating room procedures and surgical support who are ready to contribute their specialized skills in a fast-paced medical environment.
Responsibilities:
Assist in surgical operations by preparing the operating room and equipment Provide perioperative care, ensuring patient safety and adherence to sterile techniques Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and other medical staff to facilitate efficient surgical procedures Maintain and sterilize surgical instruments and equipment Monitor patients' condition before, during, and after surgery as required
Qualifications:
Certified Surgical Technician credential Experience in nursing with a focus on operating room technology (ORT) Strong knowledge of surgical tools, protocols, and safety procedures Ability to work effectively as part of a dynamic surgical team Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
