Job Description

Category Nursing - CVOR Tech Job Type Contract Seeking an experienced professional to work as a CVOR Tech in a dynamic healthcare environment. This contract position offers an opportunity to deliver exceptional patient care and support surgical teams in a collaborative setting.
Qualifications:
Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential or equivalent recognized certification Demonstrated experience as a CVOR Tech in a hospital or surgical center environment Strong knowledge of cardiovascular operating room procedures, instrumentation, and sterile technique Solid communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with surgeons, nurses, and ancillary staff Ability to work efficiently in high-pressure situations and adapt to rapidly changing clinical needs Current BLS certification (AHA or equivalent)
Responsibilities:
Prepare and maintain the cardiovascular operating room, ensuring all required instruments and equipment are ready for procedures Assist surgeons and the surgical team during cardiovascular operations, anticipating their needs throughout each procedure Maintain strict adherence to sterile field protocols and safety standards Safeguard and account for all instruments and supplies before, during, and after surgeries Monitor and report changes in patient condition within the scope of the CVOR Tech role Participate in room turnover and equipment sterilization as necessary Complete required documentation accurately and promptly Support and ensure patient safety and confidentiality at all times This is a valuable opportunity to bring your CVOR expertise to a setting where your skills truly matter.
