Job Description
Position:
Certified Surgical Technologist (CST)Location:
Jackson, MI Contract Length:
13 Weeks (Potential for Extension)Shift:
3 x 12-Hour Days Hours:
7:00 AM - 7:30PM Call Requirement:
Once per week and every 6th weekendRequired Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year of Surgical Technologist experience
- Current Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification
- BLS Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
- Previous travel healthcare experience required
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
Responsibilities:
- Prepare operating rooms with instruments, equipment, and sterile supplies
- Maintain sterile technique throughout surgical procedures
- Anticipate surgeon needs and assist during procedures
- Ensure proper handling and accountability of surgical instruments and supplies
- Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide quality patient care
- Adhere to all facility safety, infection control, and regulatory standards
