  • 36 hrs/week Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Surgical Technologist to join our dynamic healthcare team.
The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the operating room, assisting surgeons and ensuring that all necessary instruments and supplies are available and sterile. This position requires a strong understanding of surgical procedures, patient care, and the ability to work effectively in high-pressure environments. Duties Prepare and maintain a sterile field during surgical procedures, adhering to aseptic techniques and infection control protocols. Assist surgeons by passing instruments, suturing, and performing other tasks as directed during operations. Collect and document data related to patient care, including vital signs and medical records. Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Maintain knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and surgical procedures relevant to various specialties including pediatrics, emergency medicine, and critical care. Utilize electronic medical record (EMR) systems such as Epic for documentation purposes. Participate in the preparation of patients for surgery by ensuring they are informed about the procedure and comfortable. Conduct post-operative care tasks including monitoring patients in recovery. Qualifications Minimum 2 years of experience needed. General, Ortho, Podiatry, ENT, Bariatric and Urology experience required.
