Scrub Technician

Citizens Memorial Hospital (CMH) is hiring a Surgical Technologist to join our team in the Operating Room at the main hospital in Bolivar, Missouri! CMH is made up of 34 primary and specialty clinics, 6 long-term care facilities, and 1 residential care facility. Offering acute care, emergency services, ambulatory care, pharmacies, walk-in clinics, surgeries, addiction recovery, rehab therapies and more, CMH has its community covered!

About the department:

The OR consists of 23 active surgeons who perform an average of 372 surgeries/month. The OR has 6 outpatient, 3 inpatient, and 1 C-section designated suites that run 4 teams of staff/day. The surgeons work to educate, train, and develop staff to operate fluidly together.

A typical day includes:

Assisting with the supplies and needs of the department, maintaining a safe, clean patient care environment and knowing and applying aseptic and sterile techniques as applicable. Provides perioperative care of the patient Prepares the operating room and equipment Provides support to physicians and nurses while the procedure is underway Handles specimens collected

Job Requirements:

Education:

Completion of a surgical technology program from an accredited institution

Experience:

Certified Surgical Technologist or LPN with scrub tech experience

Skills:

Organization, able to work in a fast-paced environment, multitasking

Licensure/Certification:

Preferred Certified Surgical Technologist Physical:
