Job Description

Shift :
Friday 6:30 to 5pm, Saturday and Sunday 6:30am to 7pm

Base Pay Range:
$27.21 to $42.99 per hour, based on experience
Special Pay:
Additional $1.88 per hour until January 2, 2027
Shift Differentials:
Additional $6 per hour for weekend
Retention Rewards:
Up to $15,000
Relocation Support:
Additional $5,000 if moving from over 50 miles away Retention Reward (Option 1): $2,000 per year for up to 5 years, totaling $10,000 Student Loan Repayment (Option 2): $2,000 per year toward student loans, up to 5 years, totaling $10,000

DETAILED JOB DESCRIPTION
Anticipates the needs of the surgical team. Assists with the teaching of newly hired technologists and student technologists. Serves as a role model to new employees and other staff members. Communicates effectively with patients, staff members and physicians. Adheres to standards, including but not limited to: unit and hospital policies and procedures, regulatory standards, and patient safety goals. Demonstrates appropriate and correct case preparation. Establishes and maintains sterile field and assure team maintains sterile environment independently. Applies basic knowledge of instrumentations to multiple surgical cases. Corrects deficiencies at the case level. Performs technical duties involving care, preparation and maintenance of sterile and non-sterile supplies and equipment in the operating rooms in order to provide a safe and effective environment. May complete unit/department specific duties and expectations as outlined in department documents.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification by National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA), or Certified Operating Room Surgical Technician (CORST) certification by National Health career Association (NHA), or Technician in Surgery - Certified (TS-C) certification by National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT).
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Additional license/certification requirements as determined by the hiring department.
