- St. Louis, MO Midwest Institute is an established private college located in St. Louis, MO. We currently have a rewarding teaching opportunity available for the right candidate. We are seeking an Instructor to deliver our Surgical Technology curriculum. The ideal candidate should meet the following requirements:
- A minimum of 3 years experience in the operating room in the scrub role within the last 5 years prior to teaching or 3 years teaching in the field.
- CST credential
- Associate degree in Surgical Technology from an accredited institution
- Must have excellent communication and presentation skills
- First Aid and CPR certification
- Familiarity with all surgical instruments and equipment
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Working knowledge of sterile and aseptic technique
- Assisting with student labs delivering curriculum
