, Covid card Responsibilities Prepare operating rooms by sterilizing instruments, arranging supplies, and ensuring all equipment is functioning properly before surgeries Assist surgeons during procedures by passing instruments, suturing, and managing surgical tools with precision and aseptic technique Monitor patient vital signs and physiological responses throughout surgeries to ensure safety and stability Maintain accurate medical records and document surgical procedures using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) or EHR (Electronic Health Records) systems Support infection control protocols by adhering to strict aseptic techniques and sterilization standards Assist with patient care activities in pre-op and post-op areas, including vital signs assessment and patient positioning Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in trauma, emergency medicine, critical care, pediatrics, and hospital medicine settings to deliver optimal patient care Qualifications Proven experience as a Surgical Tech with OR experience in hospital environments or ambulatory surgery centers Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and infection control practices Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems such as Epic or similar platforms for medical records management Demonstrated ability to perform suturing and assist with various surgical procedures across multiple specialties including trauma centers (Level I & II), PICU, ICU, and acute care units Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; additional certifications such as Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) are a plus Excellent analysis skills for monitoring vital signs and recognizing physiological changes during surgery Ability to work efficiently in high-pressure environments while maintaining attention to detail and patient safety standards Embark on a rewarding career where your skills directly impact patient recovery and well-being.
