1 Description American Traveler is seeking a CVOR Surgical Tech with at least 1 year of cardiovascular scrubbing experience for a hospital operating room position in Billings, MT. Details Hospital operating room setting with a dedicated CVOR unit Variable 12-hour shifts, three days per week (36 hours/week) Night and/or weekend availability is required Epic EMR used for charting Floating to other departments may be required based on business need On-call during regularly scheduled shifts may be required Requirements Minimum of 2 years of surgical tech experience, with at least 1 year of CVOR scrubbing experience Cardiovascular experience must be reflected in resume/profile Graduation from a formal, accredited surgical technologist program required (U.S. military training may substitute) High school diploma or GED required BLS certification from the American Heart Association required (must not expire prior to start date) Active license required, if applicable DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration Additional Information Perform scrub duties and maintain sterile supplies and sterile technique throughout surgical cases Assemble, organize, and complete case carts according to surgeon preference lists Provide instrumentation, sutures, and supplies while maintaining a sterile field; may pass instruments directly to the surgeon Conduct sponge, needle, blade, and instrument counts per established policy Handle and prepare specimens, implants, soiled instruments, and sharps in accordance with standards of practice Assist with timely room turnover, including cleanup, supply replacement, and equipment care Permanent staff must have been separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before being eligible for a travel assignment
