Surgical Technologist

About the Surgical Technologist Position We are looking for an experienced and motivated Surgical Technologist to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

Serve as the primary Surgical Technologist in one OR per day. Support operating room turnovers, pull cases, stock supplies, and assist with laundry and other tasks. Contribute to maintaining a cost-conscious, efficient work environment. Prepare and maintain the sterile field during surgical procedures. Assist surgeons by passing instruments and supplies during operations. Ensure all necessary equipment is available and functioning properly before surgery. Collaborate with nursing staff to provide optimal patient care. Stay updated on medical terminology, suture techniques, and anatomy knowledge relevant to surgical practices. Embrace a fast-paced workflow and hands-on training model ("see one, do one, teach one").

Schedule:

Four 10-hour shifts per week (starting at 6:00 AM), with flexibility required based on case volume. No call, weekends, or major holidays.

Requirements:

Minimum 1 year of Surgical Technologist experience (orthopedics preferred). Ability to work independently and as part of a small, collaborative team. Must be able to adapt quickly and work efficiently in a high-paced environment. Relocation to or reliable commute within Bozeman, MT is required.
