Job Description

Surgical Technician A well-established specialty medical practice in Whitefish, Montana, providing advanced cosmetic and restorative care in a professional, patient-focused environment is seeking a Surgical Technician. Known for its high standards of service and attention to detail, the practice supports individuals seeking personalized treatment solutions and exceptional patient experiences. The Surgical Technician plays a critical role in supporting surgical procedures by ensuring operating rooms, instruments, equipment, and patients are properly prepared before, during, and after surgery. This position is responsible for preparing and organizing surgical instruments and sterile supplies, assisting surgeons during procedures, positioning and transporting patients, and maintaining strict sterilization and infection control standards. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment while contributing to high-quality patient care and smooth daily surgical operations.

Full-time, Monday through
Friday Essential Functions and Duties:
Prepare operating rooms with surgical instruments, sterile drapes, solutions, and necessary equipment prior to procedures Assemble, inspect, adjust, and maintain sterile and nonsterile surgical equipment to ensure proper functionality Prepare and transport patients for surgery, including positioning patients on the operating table and assisting with transfers to recovery Assist surgeons and surgical staff during procedures by passing instruments, holding retractors, and cutting sutures Handle, transport, clean, and sterilize surgical instruments and equipment in accordance with infection control standards Maintain autoclave equipment, sterilization logs, and perform routine spore testing and quality control procedures
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a healthcare practice preferred Certificate from a Surgical Tech Training Course as needed Current BCLS Ability to assist with patient care under the supervision of the nurse in the pre/post procedure High School Education or Equivalent Get in touch!
