Category Imaging - Special Procedures Job Type Travel Set in the inviting locale of Kernersville, NC, this travel assignment is a wonderful chance for skilled Surgical and Special Procedures Techs to advance their careers while discovering a vibrant community. Schedule/Hours:
Weekend coverage (including either Monday or Friday), 7a-7p Flexible weekday shifts (8, 10, or 12 hours, to be further discussed during interview)
Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years' experience as a Scrub Tech, Surgical Tech (certified preferred, but non-certified considered) Proficiency and recent hands-on experience with Imaging - Special Procedures and Surgical Tech (Certified or Non-certified) Ability to independently scrub for orthopedic and general surgery cases Excellent communication, organizational, and teamwork skills Demonstrated adaptability in fast-paced surgical environments
Key Responsibilities:
Provide surgical assistance for orthopedic and general cases Prepare and maintain a sterile field before and during procedures Collaborate closely with surgeons, RNs, and anesthesia teams Operate specialized imaging equipment as needed for special procedures Uphold strict infection control and safety measures Manage instruments, supplies, and equipment with expert efficiency
