Join FirstHealth of the Carolinas and help us in our mission to become the best place to work in healthcare! We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate team player to join our Endscopy team. In this role you will assist the providers with a variety of endoscopic procedures, ensuring that each patient receives high quality care. Responsibilities
  • Preparing the room and assisting the provider during the procedure.
  • Reprocessing and sterilizing endoscopes according to established protocol.
  • Perform equipment checks and maintenance to ensure functionality and safety.
  • Monitoring and maintaining inventory of supplies, ensuring all necessary supplies are available for procedure.
  • Educating and comforting patients before, during and after procedure to provide a positive experience.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to support patient care and unit efficiency.
  • Able to assist with back-up late during the week and a holiday. Qualifications
  • Graduate of a nationally accredited educational program for surgical technology.
  • BCLS certified.
  • Candidates should have a strong attention to detail, excellent communication and a commitment to patient safety and care quaility .
