Job Description
Category Nursing - ORT Job Type Travel Experience the charm of Mandan, ND—a picturesque location that promises both professional fulfillment and memorable adventures outside of work. Professionally, you'll thrive in a dynamic surgical environment renowned for its high procedural volume—averaging 40 to 60 cases a day across all specialties including Cardiovascular, Neuro, General, Ortho, Plastics, OB/GYN, Robotic, ENT, and Urology. This role offers tremendous growth as you collaborate with experienced surgeons, RN First Assists, and Surgical Technologist First Assists, gaining exposure to diverse surgical practices and leadership approaches.
Schedule/Hours:
Monday through Friday, 7:00am-3:30pm One call shift per week (3:30pm-7:00am next day) One weekend call shift every 4 weeksResponsibilities:
Assist in Cardiovascular surgeries: CABG, angiograms, endarterectomies, aortic root repairs, valve replacement, AAA repairs, and more Provide surgical assistance in General, Ortho, OB/GYN, Urology, ENT, and Plastics procedures Float between the main hospital surgical center and the outpatient surgical center Maintain accurate documentation utilizing EPIC Collaborate within a skilled team in both 12-OR and 6-OR department settingsQualifications:
Minimum 2 years' experience in Cardiovascular and basic General surgery CVOR Certified Surgical Assistant preferred BLS certification required Proficiency with Stryker, Covidien, and EPIC charting systemsBenefits & Perks:
