Working in this advanced cardiovascular operating department, you'll be exposed to a broad variety of complex cases—ranging from open hearts and thoracic surgeries to cutting-edge procedures involving robotics and ECMO. Schedule/Hours:

0645-1515 Monday through Friday Early starts at 6:00 a.m. for designated open-heart case prep (notification provided the day before) Opportunity for overtime Weeknight call: 3-4 times per week (1515-0645) Weekend call: every other to every third weekend (Fri 1515-Mon 0645) Rotating holiday/on-call responsibilities (must be able to report within 15 minutes)

Qualifications:

BLS certification required CST or NCCT certification, ND UAP credential Minimum 2 years of CVOR experience with proficiency in open heart surgeries (CABG, Valve procedures) First scrub experience required Flexible and willing to cross-train into general OR and float as a 1:1 sitter as needed Team-oriented and adaptable to changing case loads Willing to work a variety of shifts including calls and holidays

Primary Responsibilities:

First scrub for open hearts and other major CV procedures Cross-train and support general OR and orthopedics as needed Float to patient-care floor, providing 1:1 sitter support when case volume is low Collaborate with the charge nurse/manager and CV team lead to optimize patient care Maintain professional standards and adhere to dress code (scrubs provided)
