Cottage Hospital is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) to join our dedicated surgical team in Woodsville, NH. This is a full-time, on-site role with a Monday-Thursday schedule (7:00 AM - 4:30 PM) plus on-call responsibilities, offering a strong work-life balance in a close-knit, mission-driven environment. In this role, you will play a critical part in supporting safe, efficient surgical care. You'll be responsible for preparing and organizing surgical instruments and equipment, ensuring all supplies are available for upcoming procedures, and maintaining a sterile field throughout each case. During surgeries, you will assist surgeons by passing instruments and sterile supplies, while performing accurate counts before and after procedures to ensure patient safety. You will also contribute to overall operating room efficiency by assisting with patient positioning and transfers, cleaning and processing equipment (including endoscopy scopes), and supporting quick room turnover times. This role requires a strong understanding of surgical asepsis, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and nursing staff. The ideal candidate is a Certified Surgical Technologist (or eligible), with technical training and preferably 1-2 years of experience, though we are open to training the right individual. You should be comfortable working in a fast-paced clinical environment, standing or walking for most of your shift, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness, safety, and patient care.
