Perioperative Support Technician•

Our operating room (OR) department is one of the largest and most active OR departments in the state, with an experienced staff providing comprehensive surgical care to our patients. We are fully equipped with state-of-the-art technology and have dedicated teams of surgeons, anesthesiologists, nurses and other medical personnel who work together to deliver outstanding care. Job:
The Perioperative Support Tech is responsible for performing a range of self-directed support activities that contribute to the overall efficiency of the perioperative area(s). Work involves inventorying, disassembling, cleaning, reassembling, and maintaining operating room equipment. Assisting in maintaining a clean, sanitary, orderly Operating Room environment. Functions as an integral member of the operating room team and contribute to maintaining a safe, professional, respectful, and effective patient care environment.
What You'll Do:
Ensures the availability and preparedness of OR rooms, supplies, equipment and instruments Anticipates needs and helps set up OR for respective cases based on schedule Performs anesthesia machine and cart turn over after each case cleaning, replacing, and restocking all necessary equipment and supplies prior to each case Assists with the flow of surgical instrumentation, between Sterile Processing Dept. and surgery Assists in lifting, turning, positioning and preparing patients for surgical procedures, using proper body mechanics, appropriate repetitive relief measures and static posture relief measures
Who You Are:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred Prior OR support tech experience/housekeeping experience preferred Medical Technician Certification from the State of NH required Basic knowledge of computer skills and programs such Internet Explorer, and the
