The Patient Care Technician functions under the direct supervision of a professional nurse. He/she performs specific duties and is considered an integral part of the nursing team. He/she will assist the nurse in gathering information and making observations regarding the patient's condition.Qualifications:
Required:
High School Diploma BLS Certification through American Heart Association only Enrolled in a Nursing Program, current EMT certification, Medical Assistant Certified, Phlebotomist Certified, EKG tech or equivalentCertifications and Licenses:
BLS certification throughAmerican Heart Association Scheduling Requirements:
Nights 11p-7:30am Every other weekend required. Schedule during the week will vary depending on department needsPart-Time Mandatory Orientation Other Duties:
