What You'll Do:
Assist in preparing and caring for pre-operative patients in the Operating Room Prepare patient skin for surgery following hospital standards and maintain aseptic techniques Transport patients and position them appropriately for surgery Identify, care for, and handle biological specimens Set up operating room tables, instruments, and supplies by case type Scrub in across multiple specialty areas (preferred: Transplants, Open Heart, Urology, Neurology, Robotics) Pass instruments and sutures, assist physicians under supervision Maintain sterile environment, proper traffic control, and OR sanitation Follow facility policies for instrument sterilization and decontamination Monitor and control the surgical environment for safety and efficacy Adapt patient care to meet individual needs
What You Need:
Active BLS certification from AHA Certified Surgical Technologist or LVN/LPN license (within 180 days of graduation) 2+ years surgical technologist experience preferred Ability to perform scrub duties across multiple surgical specialties Strong team player with excellent attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols About the
